Re: The family of Denbigh pensioner missing on holiday in Greece are investigating a possible sighting of him from a day after he was due home. Arthur Jones, 73, from Denbighshire, has not been seen since 19 June, two days after he arrived in Crete. Local MP Chris Ruane said relatives had been told of a possible sighting in the Souda Bay area near Chania, where Mr Jones was staying. They are going to the area on Monday to hand out missing person leaflets. Mr Jones, a keen walker, was due home on 24 June. Mr Ruane told BBC Wales the reported sighting came from 25 June. Equipment which he would have used on walks was found in his room in Chania after he disappeared, despite the fact he had sent his family a postcard saying he had planned a walking trip. Mr Ruane said: "[There was] a reported sighting of Arthur in the Souda Bay area of Crete on 25 June, so that's a day after he was due to come back. "The family are heading down there today to deliver leaflets in the area to jog people's memories, the people that live in Crete.
