Nicholas Sprovtsoff, an explosive ordnance technician assigned to Marine Special Operations Team 8113, was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal with combat distinguishing device during a ceremony aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 25, 2014.
