We desire also to call theattention of the reader at the ancient sign of the dupli-cation of a letter as found in the words Erpf,*Susana and Ano. Many similar specimens ofthis common usage of duplication abound in the oldgrave-yards visited. But the roof-like shape of the topof stone is something rare. It is seldom found.
