The vehicle is operated by the 993rd Transportation Company located out of Lakeland and Palatka, Fla. The Army Reserve, founded in 1908 as a reserve corps of medical personnel, includes 148 different military occupation specialties and accounts for almost 20 percent of the Army's total force.
