Point Arena Lighthouse at sunset, with storm coming in off the pacific ocean with high surf and crashing waves. The lighthouse is located on the Point Arena peninsula on the northern coast of California. It was oriignally completed in 1870, but was rebuilt with reinforced concretet after the original was destroyed by an earthquake in 1906.
