Umpire Checking Wrestler's Belt, Kushti Giri Wrestling on Fridays, Kabul, Kabul Province, Afghanistan
On Fridays, traditional kushti kiri wrestling is held on an open-air field south of Ghazi Stadium. It attracts many local men who attend the games and support the players. In kushti kiri wrestling, a pin (or a fall) is when you bring down your opponent on his/her back with any part of both shoulders or both shoulder blades. Your opponent's back or any body part said above should stay in contact with the mat for at least two seconds.
