This variety fully repays the ex-tra trouble required to grow it, for it is by no meansan easy doer; its size and color are both magnifi-cent. The next commercial class was for twoblooms cut from one plant, and the Franklin ParkFloral Company, with two elegant W. H. Chadwick,was first; the second prize going to the Fifth Ave-. Chrysanthemtim 34-3-05 Growers, Nathan Smith & Son. nue Floral Company for the same variety. Thethird commercial class was for nine blooms cutfrom three plants, and with Golden and W. , E. Metzmaier was first; the second prizewent to John H. Williams with Major last class to be judged by the commercial scalewas for three blooms cut from one plant, and againthe beautiful W. H. Chadwick secured both theprizes; Sherman Stephens taking first, and the FifthAvenue Floral Company the second award. The special prizes offered by Graff Brothers andM. B. Faxon brought out the very keenest competi-tion. Graff Brothers prize was for the best dozenblooms in the show, to be judged by the commercialscale. The committee awarded this prize to theFranklin Park Floral Company for six GojdenChadwick and six W. H. Chadwick. The M. B. Faxon prize was for the best vas
