Navy sailors man the rails aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) as it passes the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The destroyer is named in honor of Rear Adm. Gordon Paie'a Chung-Hoon who was born and raised in Hawaii and previously served on the USS Arizona during the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor. Chung-Hoon was also awarded the Navy Cross and the Silver Star for gallantry as commanding officer of USS Sigsbee during the Battle of Okinawa during World War II.
