Mycenaean pottery jar with floral design, 1450 -1400 BC, Aspria. Mycenae archaeological site Museum, Greece. North of Mycenae at Aspria a small chamber tomb was excavated consisting of a simple rectangular ditch. The excavated tomb offerings were for a child. The stylised papyrus design shows the influence of Egyptian art on the Mycenaeans.
