1934 - The Angel Hotel at Grantham, England (Now the Angel and Royal) . It started as a hostelry built by the Knights Templar in 1203 and was built on the Great North Road, which once passed, through the centre of Grantham. The Templars ran it until 1312. when they were disbanded. It is one of the oldest hotels in the world.
