One example, given in fig. 64, willexhibit the variegated character of this species of textilecolourings. It is the most elementary type of compound,resulting from combining Methods I. and II., suppliedin the table of Simple Orders of Shades, and onlycontaining two elements of colour, namely, black andwhite.
