Grey cumulus clouds view to Blackpool high tide sea waves churning up sea foam on shingle beach below promenade, Cleveleys, UK

A view looking south towards Blackppool. The sea foam, churned up on the high tide beach by breaking waves, is created by the offshore breakdown of algae blooms. In December 2011 the coast road at Cleveleys was swamped by metre high drifts of sea foam.
