On 12th October 2007 the Rio Gorgos burst its banks after days of exceptionally heavy rain. This scene is on the Playa Arenal the day after the floods, and it shows a wrecked boat, a branch and some rubbish, washed out to sea in the floodwater, blown back onto the beach.
