Elder Fox served 35 days in the Utahpenitentiary and paid a fine of $53 forunlawful cohabitation with his is the father of 17 children, andhas at the present writing 77 grand-children and 26 great grandchildren. TRANE, Thomas Frederik, aprominent Elder in Lehi, Utah countj,is a son of Andreas Peter Trane andMargrethe Nielsen, and was born inLemvig, Jutland, Denmark, Feb. 4, 1846.\Vhen eight years old he moved withhis parents to Copenhagen, where howas baptized March 17, 1858, by ElderLars Matthiasen, and confirmed the fol-. lowing day by Niels Wilhelmsen. Emi-grating with his parents to America,he sailed from Copenhagen May 2, 1860;crossed the Atlantic ocean in the sail-ing vessel William Tapscott; drovean ox-team across the plains and ar-rived in Salt Lake City Oct. 5, 1860,without a relative in America, and set-tled in Lehi, Utah county. In 1866 hewas called to drive an ox-team to thi^;Missouri river and assist in bringingemigrants to Zion. In the summer of1867 he was sent to Sanpete county, andserved under General Pace in theBlackhawk war. In the winter of 186She drove a ten-horse team to the Paci-fic coast via St. George and San Ber-nardino to San Pedro, Cal. Jan. 28,1869, he married Eliza M. Howes. Sincethen he has worked at farming, mining,and merchandising. He has served inI.,€-hi as a school trustee, city council- man and city treasur
