He then joined the Nevada Air National Guard in 1994, serving over 27 years with the Nevada Air National Guard in various positions in the 152nd Airlift Wing to include the 152nd Logistics Readiness Squadron and the 152nd Intelligence Squadron. This award is presented for exceptional service of 25 years to the United States Military. Of this service, 20 years must be in the Nevada National Guard. The member's career achievement must have had a significant impact on the Nevada Military and represent dignity and accomplishments to the state of Nevada at a level of superior achievement. This must be exceptionally meritorious service to the Nevada Military Department.
