MEDITERRANEAN SEA - (Nov. 26, 2016) - USS Carney (DDG 64) conducts tactical maneuvering exercises with the Spanish Navy replenishment ship ESPS Cantabria (AOR 15) and the Royal Canadian Navy frigate HMCS Charlottetown (FFH 339) during exercise Mavi Balina 16 in the Mediterranean Sea Nov. 26, 2016. Carney, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting a routine patrol in the 6th fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
