London, UK. 14th November 2016. Questioning of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange by the Swedish prosecutor Ingrid Isgren over rape allegations dating back to 2010 begun today at the Ecuadorian Embassy. Mr Assange, who denies the accusations, has been granted political asylum by Ecuador and has remained in the embassy since June 2012. He fears traveling to Sweden to face the authorities about the allegations would result in his extradition to the US over the content published by WikiLeaks. A group of protesters held a solidarity vigil outside the embassy. Wiktor Szymanowicz/Alamy Live News
