Long, chairman of the Parade Committee ofthe Victory Jubilee and Memorial Committee, was mar-shal. It was the countys first opportunity to honor athome all of the men who served in the war and they wereaccorded a mighty welcome. Thousands of persons linedthe route of the parade.
