United States Coast Guard Bering Sea Patrol - Aleut children, Cutter NORTHWIND. Dr. Price, Assistant Surgeon, Public Health Service, examines Aleut children at Atka. Dr. Price and Dr. William J. Braye, Assistant Dental Surgeon, Public Health Service sometimes worked "the clock around" in examining and treating children and adults, ashore and aboard the NORTHWIND. One of the duties of the NORTHWIND on cruise was to render medical services in cooperation with the Public Health Service.
