An over-and-under flintlock pistol, from the armoury of Karl Friedrich, Grand Duke of Baden, G. Lichtenfels in Karlsruhe, circa 1780. Octagonal barrels merging to round with smooth bores in 11 mm calibre. Silver front sights. The tops of the barrels are signed, "C. Lichtenfels Carlsruhe". Lightly engraved locks with exterior cock springs and slide safeties. The signature is repeated on the lower edges. Belt hook mounted with screws on the left side. One trigger, the cocks release one after the other with increasing trigger pressure. Lightly carved walnut stock.,
