Most of their stock consists ofgoods which have been well advertised in farm papers, many different brands in thesame line being carried. Well advertised brands of shoes were well displayed in the show window of the depart-ment containing dry goods. On the second floor a line of household furnishings is store is well lighted by electricity. Its always easier to sell advertised lines, said Mr. Bicknell. Their makers have gotto back them up—otherwise its useless to advertise them. The
