LEPTOSPIRA
Leptospira is a spiral-shaped bacteria which causes a disease called leptospirosis. The bacteria is harbored by domestic and wild animals. Humans can be contaminated via the skin. Symptoms of leptospirosis include high-grade fever, muscle pain, headache, signs of meninitis, and sometimes signs of multiple-organ bleeding. Antibiotic treatment is required.
