Air Force Airmen of the 145th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron tow a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft into the hanger at the North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, March 21, 2018. The 437th Airlift Wing from Joint Base Charleston, , flew in to aid the NCANG in transiting to the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft by providing their airframe for towing practice into the hanger. This is the first time a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft has been towed into the hanger, and the maintenance crew took every precaution to ensure proper clearances and safety
