Counting the votes cast in the Ceredigion constituency at the General Election, May 6 2010


The overnight count of the votes in the Ceredigion, west wales, constituency at the 2010 may 6th UK General Election, The sitting MP, Mark Williams of the Liberal Democrat party retained the seat, with an increased majority up from around 200 to over 8,300 , beating Plaid Cymru into second place. Plaid Cymru had pinned great hopes and expended much energy in attempting to regain the seat that they had held in the late 90's.
