Society held a chrysanthemum show at Frueh's. The results were as follows: Charles Frueh & Sons, first, 92 points; Boehringer Bros., second, 84; Martin Kelt, third, 80; John Marsh, fourth, 73; J. B. Goetz Sons, fifth, 68; William Roothke Floral Co., sixth, 46. Twelve large blooms in a vase for competition. The pompons were shown in a wide range of colors, in which Boehringer Bros, received first, Charles Frueh & Sons second, J. B. Goetz Sons third, William Eoethke Floral Co. fourth. The society's next meeting will be held at the William Boethke Floral Co.'s green- houses, Gratiot avenue, December 6, at 7 p. m. Grohman the Florist had a set table decoration in his window last week which attracted a great deal of atten- tion. Charles Frueh & Sons had an ex- tremely large run on funeral flowers, which kept the store force working early and late last week. <.
