Kumbh Mela is a mass congregation of pilgrims who gather to take a bath/dip in a sacred river. The geographical location for the Kumbh Mela spans across four cities within India. Kumbha Mela is a major pilgrimage and festival in Hinduism. It is celebrated in a cycle of approximately 12 years, to celebrate every revolution Brihaspati completes, at four river-bank pilgrimage sites: Allahabad, Haridwar, Nashik, and Ujjain.
