Airman First Class Tommy Nguyen, 23d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (AMXS) crew chief, explains the functions of an A-10C Thunderbolt II internal component to Chief Master Sgt. James Allen, 23d Wing command chief, during an immersion tour, July 10, 2018, at Moody Air Force Base, Ga. Allen toured the 23d AMXS to build rapport and experience the day to day operations of maintenance Airmen. Throughout his visit, Allen was able to speak with Airmen and hear their opinions and ideas behind the continued success if the AMXS.
