Crimson Rambler—Originated in Scotland and is perfectly hardy: will grow 8 to 10 feet in a season, the flowers appearing in great panicles as large as a man's hat and of a deep, rich crimson color, like blood-colored velvet The flowers, when cut. last two weeks in water, and fully a month on the bush, which is a perfect mass of rich crimson atalltimes. It can be grown in various ways, as a pillar rose, as a trellis rose, and for covering a wall it has no equal, and when pegged down it will form a bed of itself.
