It will be recalled that this state repre-sentative body held its sessions in the court housefrom 1799 to 1812. As the Corporation Bookshows, this distinguished assembly had gone theirway to Harrisburg without first having paid fivepounds rent for the use of a ten-plate wood stovein the court house.
