A two-handed sword, Italian, circa 1560 A straight, double-edged blade, some notching, with a slight medial ridge. Fullers on both sides of the upper third of the blade. The ricasso has three fullers. Straight, flat quillons, (one quillon slightly bent) with guard rings riveted on both sides. Leather covered grip. Slightly flattened, pear-shaped pommel.
