It was an old-fashioned picnic, everyone carrying their own lunch and theprogramme much resembled those is-sued by the Scottish clans. The listof contests was quite lengthy and theprizes were donated by members andfriends of the club and the committeehad plenty to do to keep the successiveevents moving in order to take the re-turn cars at 6 :30 p. m. Success crownedtheir efforts, and every one returnedhaving spent a most pleasant day andfull of compliments for the committeehaving charge of the most successfulpicnic ever held by the club.
