Birmingham, 1st February 2023 - Revellers were thin on the ground on Broad Street in Birmingham early Wednesday evening which is usually one of the busiest days for the nightlife economy due to partygoers hitting pubs and clubs after a month of alcohol avoidance, however bus and rail unions helped to dampen down celebrations as streets were practically empty of life with only a few out, many of whom were watching football.
