I have not been able to make a thorough study of tliis species, and therefore limit myself to calling the attention of naturalists to its occurrence on the shores of the coral reef of Flor- ida. F/ff. 93 gives an outline view of this species; and a comparison with Fiff. 94, which represents the northern Bolina alata in the same position, may show their specific difference.
