Stone carved relief signed by the master builder Diogenes depicting a trowel, an apotropaic phallus, a plumbline, a cudgel or an axe/a hammer that cuts orthogonally, a scalpel and two unidentifiable objects. First century CE. From Casa del Marinaio / House of the Sailor. Pompeii's Antiquarium first opened in 1873, but closed in 1980, only reopening as a museum again with a permanent display of artefacts in 2021.
