Paris, France - 19 September 2018 Notre-Dame,the famous medieval Catholic cathedra, is located on the ële de la Cit in the fourth arrondissement of Paris, France. A landmark of the city, it is a stunning example of the French Gothic architectural style. Building work commenced in 1160, but was not substantially completed until a century had passed. Here we see its main facade. Editor Note: entry to the Cathedral is free and unticketed; you only pay to climb the towers or enter the catacombs.
