Mancie Baker performing solo on stage three, at the 2017, On Blackheath Music Festival

Mancie Baker is a singer songwriter from London. Still only 17 she has been writing and performing for four years to audiences ranging from thirty local pub patrons to over thirty thousand at last years Car Fest. The reaction is always the same to her astonishing repertoire of wonderfully crafted songs, occasionally comprising the odd smart cover. Her music, both on record and live has been prominently featured on Dermot O’Leary and Chris Evans’ Radio Two shows. She recorded one of her earliest songs, 6am, with The Strypes Josh McClorey and recently supported UK rock legends Squeeze in concert. Although still a teenager, London’s Mancie Baker is almost in the veteran category when it comes to playing live. The singer/songwriter started writing and performing aged just 13 and has played the whole range from 30 people in a pub to more than 30,000 at 2016’s Car Fest. She’s recorded with Josh McClorey from The Strypes, supported UK rock legends Squeeze and been featured on Dermot O’Leary and Chris Evans’ Radio Two shows – not bad for one so young. This is no novelty act however, Mancie has produced an astonishing array of wonderfully-crafted songs and can also throw in the odd crowd-pleasing cover.
