ETNYRE, Edward D., of the house of E. & Co., Oregon, was born in that cityJuly 9. 1860. a son of Daniel Etnyre, a success-ful and respected Ogle Counfj farmer. Hepassed his early years on the farm, and waspersonally identified with farming until , however, he engaged in the manufactureof steel tanks at Oregon. The firm of E. & Co., manufacturers of sprinklingwagons and sprinkling carts for streets, boule-vards, parks, golf courses, i-oad-building purposesand race tracks, of tank wagons of any size andfor all uses, and of trucks of any capacity de-sired, was established in 1897 with Mr. Etnyreas its organizer and active manager. Under hisenergetic direction the business soon outgrew itsoriginal quarters and the present factory waserected in 1906. Mr. Etnyre, married Miss Harriet Smith atSacr
