Alan J. Anderson, Director of Boeing’s Concept Center, relaxes in a prototype of a crew rest module. The inflatable module features a patented sound system and pneumatically adjustable recliner. Unit can be deflated to a fraction of its functional size for ease of installation and removal. On the mannequin (camera left) the black age simulation suit, restricts motion and sensory input to simulate aging and is worn on occasion by younger member of design team to sensitize them to the needs of the older passengers.
