This Pyrenean town is located in the Tena Valley next to the confluence of the Caldarés and Bolática rivers, rivers that descend from the highest peaks in the municipality. Within the term there is also the alpine ski resort "Panticosa-los Lagos" (currently belonging to the Aramón group), as well as a famous thermal water spa 8 kilometers from the town ("Baños de Panticosa").
