Archaeology at Domus Aurea palace in Rome, Italy. The Domus Aurea archaeological site is a large palace that was built on the orders of the Emperor Nero from around 64 AD to 68 AD, on the Oppian Hill. Here, in room 122 at the Octagonal Hall, a camera mounted on a pole is being used to photograph the walls up to a height of 15 metres. Photographed in 2014.
