Giant green anemone (Anthopleura xanthogrammica). This species of anemone gets its colour from the green algae that lives in its tissues. It inhabits low tide pools and rocks. It feeds on mussels, crabs, sea urchins and small fish. Photographed on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington State, USA.
