(March 23, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Tomeka Raphiel-Shields provides opening remarks during the Women’s History Month celebration on the mess decks aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). The ship recently returned from a series of qualifications and certifications as part of the basic phase of training in preparation for future operations and deployments.
