Emerald Ash Borer Parasite


Native to China, the parasitic wasp Tetrastichus planipennisi is being used as a biocontrol for the emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis), an asian wood-boring beetle introduced by accident into the Great Lakes region of the US and causing the death of millions of ash trees.
