The rustic stone arches of the lower cascade within the Venus Vale, sits at the end of a grassy glade with statues and pools, flanked by mature trees and Laurel hedging at Rousham House, Oxfordshire. The grounds of Rousham are an early example of English landscape design by William Kent (1685-1748) and remain much as he left them.
