OKINAWA, Japan (March 7, 2019) Builder 2nd Class Shalvish Narayan and Yeoman 2nd Class Nicholas Rugg, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, and Sailors assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa tenant commands, take the Navy-wide E-6 advancement exam onboard Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
