MYRICA CERIFERA. This shrub is a very conspicuous feature of the seashore growth along the middle states. It is one of the few desirable Shrubs that will succeed in the trying conditions found there. We have some very nice bushy plants twice transplanted, 2 to 3 feet, 75 els per doz., $5 per 100. NYSSA MULTIFLORA. A very beautiful tree of striking and characteristic appearance. Foliage rich and glossy as though it was varnished, turning to brilliant red in autumn. Col- lected plants 1 to 2 feet. $2 per 100, $15 per 1000. PERSIMMON. A native fruit that'.has man}' good points in its native state, and is capable of great improvement. It always bears and if the fruit is allowed to fully ripen and then dried like figs it will be found delicious. Different trees vary greatly in the quality of the fruit. Collected seedlings, 1 to 2 feet, $2 per 100, $15 per 1000. PYRUS ARBUTIFOLIA. A awarf shrub with elegant flowers, like miniature apple blossoms, followed by clusters of bright red berries that remain until late in the winter. Nursery grown plants, 1 to 2 ft. per 100, per 1000.
