White Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, is a wildflower indigenous to Europe. It grows in all regions of the United States. The Pawnee native Indian tribe brewed the stalks of yarrow for pain relief. Tea made from the leaves were used for fever and as a sleep aid by the Cherokee tribe. Steam breathed in from the plant was used for headache by the Chippewa tribe. Oklahoma, USA.
