ARTERIAL ANGIOPLASTY, ILLUST.
Result of an angioplasty undertaken with the help of a balloon catheter after the placement of a stent. After the removal of the balloon catheter, the artery and the plaque of atheroma maintain their shape of balloon which enables the normal circulation of the blood again.
