Just why motive power and operationofficials should not urge the attendanceof their air brake men is hot entirelyclear to us. B. .Association. variety of equipments in use, the increas-ing length of trains and constant changesin operating conditions, necessitate in-telligent supervision, inspection and re-pair work, and to successfully cope withthe imposed conditions the air brake menrequire the assistance the experience ofothers is able to give them. From past experiences we know thatthe unusually large attendances tend toimpede the prompt transactions of busi-ness but ample provision will be made toinsure a profitable return for the time cx-pindcd in attendance regardless of thenumber of members that may be present.
