Fore wing red-brown mixed with some greyish ochreous and sufiused with deep purple plum-colour ; some slight black irroration on inner area towards base; antemedial line fine, white, defined on outer side by black and grejish ochreous, oblique from costa to vein 2 below the cell, then inwardly oblique, touching the reniform which, is slightly defined by white, strongly constricted at middle and produced at upper extremity, a white striga above it from costa ; the medial area with veins 4 to 1 streaked Avith greyish ochreous ; postmedial line double, greyish ochreous, oblique from costa to vein 6, where it is obtusely angled, then inwardly oblique, sinuous.
